About the Event
The Superhero Summer Festival & 5K/10K Walk‑Run‑Roll, hosted by the San Andreas Regional Center (SARC), takes place at Almaden Lake Park in San Jose, CA on July 26, 2025. The event kicks off with race registration at 8:00 AM, and the inclusive 5K or 10K Walk‑Run‑Roll begins at 9:00 AM. Immediately following the race, a vibrant community festival starts at 10:00 AM featuring games, entertainment, arts & crafts, food trucks, community resource booths, superhero appearances, face painting, free backpacks, and much more. The festival is free and open to the public, while registration fees apply for the race. Participants receive medals, shirts, snacks, and access to various inclusive activities.

Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including those with autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other varying abilities.
Family members, support professionals, caregivers, and health service providers who support them.
Community members, allies, and local organizations looking to support inclusion and connect with community resources.
Anyone who wants to participate in a non-competitive, inclusive event—walkers, runners, rollers, and families alike.
Participants are encouraged to don superhero gear in honor of the abilities and achievements of individuals with differing disabilities.
