Deaka McClain serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors for Taylored Care Advocacy Association. She is a respected disability advocate in Southern California and is widely recognized for her leadership and involvement in the Harbor community, including her service as Chair of the Harbor Self-Determination Advisory Committee. Deaka brings valuable lived experience, strong community voice, and a deep commitment to advancing inclusion, access, and self-determination for individuals with disabilities. In her board role, she helps support governance, board records, accountability, and organizational integrity.
